P.E:

PE days are Tuesday & Wednesday.

Due to the nature of school events, these may change from time to time, please ensure your child has their PE kit in school with them at all times. 
 

Please provide you child with a PE kit to keep in school. This kit will stay in school throughout the term and be sent home before the end of each term, to be returned at the beginning of the new term.

PE kit includes:

• School PE shirt,
• Black shorts,
• Black leggings
• Black joggers.

We will be holding PE lessons outdoors if the weather permits therefore please consider this when providing your child with their PE kit.

Reading Books:
In Howardian, we encourage a love for reading. To support reading at home, please encourage your child to regularly log in to their Bug Club accounts where they have a variety of books to choose from at their reading level.

Some children will also be sent home with an additional reading book and a reading record to fill in. Please share this with your child, fill the record in and return on a weekly basis.

Spellings:
Our 'Spelling pattern of the week' will be text out on a weekly basis. Year 3 spellings will also be uploaded to our Year 3 Google Classroom. 

If you wish to do so, it would be a great opportunity to practise these spellings at home with your children to support their progress in Year 3.
