Continuous Learning
The children are so open to learn new things every day in Nursery. We are all continuous learners and find opportunities to learn in all different situations and places.
When you are out and about with your children can you...
- count your steps
- recognise numbers around you
- use coins to pay for items
- identify shapes
- play number games?
Nursery Rhymes
We love songs and rhymes in Nursery and the way they help us to learn.
Every day we have singing time where we develop our skills through our singing and rhymes. We particularly enjoy songs that have counting and number elements to them. Here are a few of our favourites which we would love for you to enjoy with us at home too.
BBC School Radio
BBC School Radio is a fantastic resource which adds visual elements to the songs and rhymes we share in Nursery. The boys and girls really enjoy singing along and watching the videos that go alongside the songs.
