Safeguarding and Chid protection: information for parents and carers

Safeguarding

Safeguarding means protecting an individual’s health, wellbeing and human rights. Enabling them to live free from harm, abuse and neglect. Howardian Primary School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the health and welfare of children, and we expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.

Our Culture of Safeguarding

Our culture of safeguarding is an essential element of our Wellbeing Strategy with relationships being at the heart of our school. This demonstrates our commitment to promoting and supporting a culture of safety and wellbeing both inside and outside of school and online.

Children’s Rights are at the heart of our school. We are a Gold: Right’s Respecting School.
