Wellbeing Interventions

If you have any questions about accessing wellbeing support for your child, please get in touch with the school. At Howardian we use a whole school approach and targeted interventions to support pupil's wellbeing. Please find further information below.

We have three Thrive Practitioners at Howardian; Miss Britton, Miss Thomas and Mrs Lennox.

Thrive equips schools with the tools to build pupils' social and emotional skills. By embedding social and emotional learning across the school, Thrive equips staff to better understand and respond to pupils' needs. Using Thrive-Online, educators assess and track emotional development and behaviour in schools, creating personalised action plans that support each pupil. This proactive, whole school approach to mental health reduces barriers to learning, and cultivates a positive environment where pupils feel safe, engaged, and ready to achieve their full potential.

A whole school approach is key to fostering an environment where every pupil’s mental health and wellbeing are prioritised. By embedding emotional wellbeing into all aspects of school life, we create a foundation that enhances behaviour, attendance, and overall learning outcomes.

Thrive Licensed Practitioners are able to support and actively develop the wellbeing and resilience of the children and young people they work with.
